how it works

Guests are added to a live queue throughout the event. For live portraits, guests briefly pose while I take a quick reference photo. From there, I create a loose, bold, and colourful illustration in real time—ready for guests to take home within minutes.

my process

Each illustration is hand-drawn in a bold, single-colour monoline style and completed in approximately 5 minutes. This allows for a smooth, engaging flow while ensuring each guest receives a thoughtful, high-quality piece to take home.

event set up

I require a table, a chair, and good lighting to work comfortably. I work continuously throughout events and may take short breaks as needed—just part of keeping the energy and quality consistent over time.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Travel within Metro Vancouver is included. For events outside this area, additional travel costs may apply (e.g. transportation, mileage, accommodation). These will always be discussed and approved in advance.

  • A 30-minute setup period is required prior to the event (in addition to the booked time) and is billed at a flat rate of $125 to ensure a smooth and seamless experience.

  • On average, I create 10–12 illustrations per hour, depending on the level of detail and the flow of the event. This allows for a smooth, engaging experience while maintaining consistency and quality.

  • Yes! I typically work on 5.5” x 7.5” cream cardstock, but I’m happy to adjust the size, format, or concept to suit your event. I can also tailor elements such as colour palettes, layouts, and overall visual direction to align with your brand.

    Custom materials or printing will require additional fees and lead times will vary depending on the scope.

  • We offer flexible pricing based on project type and complexity. After an initial conversation, we’ll provide a transparent quote with no hidden costs.

  • Live illustration is designed to be an engaging, interactive experience rather than something every guest may receive.
